Delete your account

You can delete your BhutiFuel account yourself, at any time, without emailing anyone and without telling us why. It is permanent.

In the app

Open the app and sign in.
Go to Profile, then Account.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

The app signs you out and deletes the account straight away. You do not need to contact support.

By email

If you cannot get into the app, email [email protected] from the address on the account with the subject Delete my account. We action it and confirm to you in writing.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, these go with it, permanently:

Your profile, name and contact details
Your fuel logs, trips, earnings and expenses
Your vehicle records and saved vehicles
Your marketplace profile, listings, applications and messages
Your verification documents and uploaded images
Your safety contacts, SOS history and location records
Your league record, progression and push notification subscriptions
Any fleet roster membership or invite sent to you

Downloads you exported earlier (CSV, JSON, PDF) are files on your own device. We cannot reach them, so please delete them yourself if you want them gone.

What is kept, and why

A small number of records are about a rental you and somebody else had together, not about you alone. Those stay, because deleting them would destroy the other person's record of what happened:

A review someone else wrote about a rental with you. The text and the rental it came from are kept. The link to your account is removed, so the review can no longer identify you.
Rental agreements, payments and the audit trail. These are the contractual record both sides rely on. They are kept without your account reference.
Trust and reputation scores. Kept as anonymous numbers so a counterparty's history stays meaningful.
Counted, non-identifying usage totals. For example that a Driver Deal was viewed 40 times. These never contained anything that identifies you.

This is deliberate. It is the difference between deleting your data and deleting someone else's data about you, and it is why your copy of the marketplace disappears while someone else's honest account of a rental with you does not.

How long it takes
